Default More Throttle Response and Faster Bike

Hi Guys...

I have a 2010 Heritage Softail. The engine is stock....but I have a K & N Air Filter and V & H Mufflers (exhaust is stock.)

I want more throttle response and also a "quicker" bike....

I do not need the bike to go 200 MPH...just enough to get me out of a bad situation with the cagers....

Thanks

The SE 255s are yet another choice & can be found very cheap in new condition from CVO bikes....

I might be mistaken, I've been doing a lot of reading on different cams lately so I'm probably thinking of something else.. but I think that I've read the 255's are more of a mid to high range torque increases, whereas the 203/204s are better suited for low-to-midrange increases? Someone correct me if that's wrong.

Might do a search for Nightrider Xied. I put a set on my bike for that same reason, for about $100 bucks. It runs quite a bit cooler, and seems for do better at the around town speeds I ride at. It richens up the AF mix at lower rpms. They're made for bikes with minor airflow & exhaust mods.

Before you buy xied's, do you have a tuner? Assuming you do since you have the hi flow air filter and aftermarket mufflers. The xied's work well with the Vance and Hines fuel pack, but not so great with the other tuners out there.
