I just finished mounting the J&P kit (#5200260) on my bike by drilling the peg mounting holes out to 1/2". The pegs are up and forward (and a bit farther out) and they do appear to able to loosen on the left side.

I tried using them...the left one kept lossing up due to Paula stepping on it to get on the bike. That's why I bought their anti-rotation mounts...that didn't work either.
