Garage leathers are hand made in the US
They have real buckles, not poser quick clips
The leather is very thick- there is no "flopping issue."

I abuse mine, and have for two years. I ride with it in the rain. I leave it out in the sun. I overstuff it. All I do is rub it down with some of the supplied conditioner 2x a year. It will probably outlast the bike.

It is also made in the US.

The stitching is top-knotch. It is the real deal, not a cheap piece of **** bag that is trying to pretend to be what a garage leathers bag already is.

I would recommend checking out other brands before you make derogatory remarks about them. It is clear you dislike plastic buckles under the straps. From the brands I have personally run a few have been cheap (LaRosa and a no name) but the majority were made in teh USA by hand and very nice.

I didn't say anything about any other brand, only about garage leathers.

If you associate flopping and cheap leather with another brand, that's on you. I'm saying that the GL bags don't have this problem.

but if something is made someplace else, it's not for me, and it shouldn't be for any american either.

as for plastic buckles, that's a personal thing. Apologies for any offense.

Lots of people rave about BAD&G bags. But honestly, the bag my friend got for 125 is a floppy, cheap version of the garage leathers bag I paid significantly more for.

Make your own decisions though. Sometimes there is such a thing as "good enough" when it comes to saving some money. And at least they are made in the US, so that makes them automatically better than something made in china, IMO.

I just know I won't every buy one of those, if my GL ever wears out. Which I don't see happening. Plus, my friend bought a dyna bag for 125, which obviously is different from what you have.

They will fit your softail if you're not running true dual exhaust.
They are solo bags meant to be mounted on the left side of the bike.

Fox Creek sells LeatherWorks bags at a higher price than you could get them elsewhere, minus the replica buffalo head nickles.

LeatherWorks is also a USA made bag.
Not sure about the HD one, but I doubt it's made in the USA.

Seen some run a tool bag attached to the swing arm on the right.
If you were running very very short pipes, you might be able to run a solo made for the right side.
