Sweet! I love the peanut tank. I do like what they've done with the little tank on the '48 tank to hide the frame. I think the 3.2 is a perfect tank for long trips. I have to stop and stretch every 100-150 miles, anyway. And I have to agree with your wife. At least in the pics it looks green. But, I am color blind, so what do I know? Looks good!

LOL Okay, now it's time to fess up. How many times have you pulled up next to a Sportster and spanked their butts with them wondering how that Sporty got so fast??

I think it looks great!

The 2.2 is about 4 inches shorter than the 3.2. They did away with the small peanut in the late '90s early '00s, I believe. They revived it with the new '48. They added a tongue to the tank on the seat end that now covers up the bare space between the tank and frame. Rode a Sporty with the 2.2 4,700 miles, so it ain't jsut a bar hopper.

From the pictures the paint looks sort of olive drab to me. Other than that, anything I could say about the tank's already been said.

The tank looks cool as hell. It wouldn't work for me with traveling 110 miles each day fill ups would get old quick.

Can't say I like the rear fender much.

Bike looks good man, now just throw that back rest on for your woman and let's ride...

Also, it does look more green in the photos than in person, it is probably due to your camera settings more than anything.
