Default NEW to me Cross Bones

Just picked up a new to me, 09 Cross bones with 1077 kms on her...thats right only 1077 kms
Bike has blacked out engine, LED rear taillight, smoked lens, digital flush fuel gauge and gas cap, V&H stage 1 2 into 1 pipes and RSD intake breather, stock seat and another that sits lower and leather, forward controls and the floorboards and a winshield with quick release.
Oh and the paint ia harley special, sort of a plaid look.

Couple of questions for guys that know:

care of the flat paint? washing and I gather no wax?

rear tire seems to have more wear then expected for the low low kms but a friend told me there was something about the Dunlop 200's that wear quicker? is there a better tire to use when this one is used up?

Bike runs and sounds great, was very comfy on the 300+km ride home. Owner gave me all the take off parts also

Nice bike! I have a FXST with 90,000 miles and the best tire I have found is the new Pirelli night dragon. Keep us posted on your thots of the cross bones.

Congrats on the new bike! I have an 09 Bonz as well. The matte black paint is very durable, but never ever get it near soap. Windex is the way to go. Don't use any cleaning supplies that you use to wash your car etc, as trace amounts of waxy soap sh%t can still be in there. just spray with Windex and wipe with paper towels. As far as the tire goes, I have almost 7,000 miles on my rear and it still has some meat on it. It is the original tire. Have fun and ride safe!
