Yeah as mentioned you can find the Nightster for a pretty good deal. Infact I may be parting with mine soon... it was a fun bike but have spent more money/time into the softail.

This is my 05 NT with a 3.3 gallon sportster tank on it. Got it for $200 or so off ebay. Pretty easy mod. As for getting a sportster, I dig the hell out of the RSD cafe conversion. Thats the route I would go with an XR or Nightster. Am I crazy to want a sportster ?!..-photo.jpg

Man you have a sweet standard, I’d never trade down. Just save your pennies and get a used Sportster if you want it that bad.

I, for one, like Sportsters!

And to a degree I still miss my old Sporty! In my opinion the Sportster is the hot rod of Harleys. It's small, fast, and maneuverable. The thing I liked the least about a Sportster was having to re-fuel it every 100 miles or so when traveling. Oh well! One of these days I'm gonna figure out a way to buy a used Sporty to give me another scoot to play with.

I am seriously thinking of selling my Standard and getting this bike, it is lighter, faster and for sure less on insurance.. but .. I just spent too much time and money on my current bike, it hurts
I agree with getting it as a second bike, but your bike is badass bro, I would not sell it.

You have your bike set up perfect. Keep it and get a second bike.
