WHITE WALL 120/70/21 METZ, Avon, etc.
Ok so a bunch of you guys out there have been askin me about the 120 WW Metz that I ordered from Diamond Back Tires. Well here is some pics, its Really white, I mean Note Book Paper white. As Perfect as a WW can Get. These guys take whatever tire you want an put a WW on. They offer different sizes as well, 21,19,18,17 etc. The WW is really smooth, not gritty like factory WW's that Ive had. Taking off the Blue was kinda too easy. lol Here is their contact info for anyone interested. 888-922-1642 Ask for Tab.
They use the same process as putting a Re-tread on Big Rig Tires. THEY WILL NOT COME OFF. They apply a Black adhesive to the Side wall just like big companies then they add a White primer then the WW. So, you wont have "BLEEDING" through like you have with the Vee's. Thats why Vee's arent really WHITE. These are white. Diamond Back puts WW's on antique Cars, so So-So quality is not a Option. Now they have begun to do motorcycle tires also.
Pricing, I paid $148 for the 120 Metz, then they add $75per WW. So, to my door I paid $298 for a Great WW. Whatever tire you want, just add $150 to the WW's. Take a Look at the Pics. If you have any questions call and talk to Tab, hes a great guy to deal with and will answer as many questions as you can ask.
