Default Best vance and hines for Fat Boy

I'm after a set of V&H pipes for my 05 fat boy but torn between, short shots, big shots staggered and straight shots...they all vary in price, shortshots being the cheapest, but I seem to remember reading somewhere that they(shortshots) don't perform too well even with staging etc, I'd appreciate anyones personal experiences, photos would be great too.
I did email V&H for some info re the best performing models but I've heard nothing yet.
Thanks in advance

I wenr with the Big Shots Stagger'd.

The shorts looked to short and the longs looked to long IMO. I like the sound of them and they look great.

I experienced no reduction in power with these ShortShots, in fact, performance was great, along with the tone (BCT baffles installed).
Replaced months ago with V & H dual fishtails.

They're for sale if interested. PM me.

Pick the ones you think look the best. They all perform good enough for street riding.

All of the V&H pipes perform well and sound good...Get the ones you like. I have the Double Barrels and love the way they sound and perform.

If I had a Fatboy I'd be getting the Big Shot Staggered's myself. They look great on Totally Bored's bike.

I run Big Shots staggered, they look good, but most folks say you will have better low end torque with a 2 into 1 setup. The low end needs a certain back pressure to keep the reversion down.

I put the quiet baffles in mine (they were just too obnoxious to guys that rode behind me) and I like the deeper tone. The quiet baffles are only a small bit quieter, but the tone is different, less of the blap blap and more potutoe potutoe.
