My opinion is to get the unbaffled ones. If they are too loud you can add an aftermarket baffle. if you get the baffled ones and they are too quiet, you can't really remove the factory baffle.

As far as scraping. Stuff scrapes in turns. You can learn how far to lean to minimize it a bit.
