I haven't felt any brake drag, but that doesnt mean it's not happening. I was planning on flushing and changing the brake fluid when I had the bike apart in the next couple of weeks, so I guess I'm claning the caliper too! haha

On the Lyndal site there are tips for cleaning the calipers.

I didn't realize that the front brake on the FXSTS was a single piston. Guess I had the image of a CVO Springer in my head.

Aren't the 'Gold' the metal sintered ones for racing that can tear up rotors?

I've always used Organic Kevlar, ( Lyndall or EBC,) with great success.
