I have been running BSS's on my Heritage for years and have had no problems with the shorter exhaust and saddlebags. I do, however, want to install Bassani True duals when I get the bucks together.

You'll never understand the benefits of different tires until you run them. That is all I can say. I used to be fine with stock tires until a good friend convicned me to try something different.

Gotta agree with Drew, I liked stock dunlops for the wear life, but comfort wise, Metz's are pretty much my favorite tire. They may not last as long as Dunlops, but the grip is sticky and they last awhile too.

I get 10K out of Metzeler rears. Dunno how many miles you get out of Dunlops...Keep them aired up properly (40-42 PSI).

Slickster: Those bars look mighty comfy - low and some nice pull back to them. Who makes them?

What is THE brand of WWW that gets the most respect around here? Do you guys normally use the stock size?

I'm looking at true dual pipes with the fish tails ... V&H most likely. Could I install these myself? How difficult is it? I know my bike has the power commander III, but I don't know a thing about that stuff. Is the power commander something that comes stock on the bike? Can I slap them on and go? or do adjustments need to be made?

Here's a pic ... I need to update it though. I threw on the nacelle with the visors, I think it's pretty darn cool!

I pretty much stuck to the Dunlops due to tire life. Ran numerous pipes but settled on the V&H fishtails as they were not too loud but gave a nice note.

Just switched and after 2k on the tires, the bike just seams to stick better on the road with the Metzelers.

With Metzelers make sure you run a higher pressure. I run 40 front and 42 rear.

wild1 Chubby RKII ... they are perfect. The stock bars were killing me for some reason. I was getting the numbness and wrist pain thing pretty bad.

It took me about 10 hours to make the switch, well worth the money and effort.
The RKII's just fit perfect ... it was a weird switch for a little bit, but after a hundred miles or so they were meant to be there
