Finally got it done. Kuryakyn side mount license plate. I cut the original plastic plate off, a dremel to grind down the surfaces, hand sanded and then painted it with Krylon Wrinkle Black.

Looks great, what is the tail light you have? I will post more photo's of my FXSTS when I get my mini apes on...

 

The tail light is the Kuyakyn Pancea. Smoked with built-in turn signals.

looks awesome... I am dropping the front signals when I do the handlebars and will install the mirrors that have them. I am looking at the panacea rear lights...

 

I've got some of the mirrors with the signals if you're interested. Well, I think I still have them. I'll look this weekend.

 

I've been lookin around for a side mount plate that's horizontal.

The cops will give you a tough time here in MA if it's verticle. [:@]
