I put them in mounted tires. The trick is to just trickle them in very very slowly. I gently tapped the bottle to get them to flow and it took about 10 or 15 minutes per tire. Try to rush and they jam up in the tire stem. My rear stem sticks out sideways from the tire so i had to lean the bike over on its side until the stem pointed upward.

Cmosentine, I put them in my buddies tire when we bought custom wheels. Just unscrew the schraeder valve out of the valve stem and pour them in. It's not difficult, but you have to go slow. If you try to pour them in too fast, they clog up and won't pour in. I found they if they do clog up, take a paper clip and straighten out the open end and use it to push the clogged beads into the hole
(sounds kind of dirty doesn't it :-) ) anyway... he mounted standard size tires ( nothing oversize) and like Cazimere stated, 1 oz in the front tire, and 2oz in the back tire. I took it out for a ride and there was absolutely NO out of balance vibration from the wheels at all. Highly recommended.

If you have the cast newer style cast wheels, before you dump the beads in just try it with no weights or beads. These new wheels and quality tires are so close at normal speeds you probably will be fine as is. Especially if your tire changer is just static balancing his wheels. They probably do more harm then good on newer wheels and tires. My front has no weights and at 70 is smooth and vibration free. The wheel I took off that was balance by local Harley dealer had a slight vibration.
