That's why TC HD is the number one HD dealer in the country.

Now I wish their service department would catch up a bit.

Nice deal. I bet you can't wipe the smile off of the wifes face for days.

Tell your wife congrats on the bike.
I did the same exact thing... Had to see where you were from, cause THAT is a great dealership!

Question

Happy ending but, why was it trailered home?
Both of my Harleys were rode home by the owner... me.

I think you may have found a good dealer there.
The bike looks great and I'm betting the Mrs. has a grin she won't be able to wipe off her face for at least a week.
Let her know we wish her Good luck and Safe riding.

And make sure she posts a pic of her riding it.

b/c of two reasons primarily

1 - break in on the motor and having to vary the rpm's etc etc - this was a straight shot down the freeway back home and with only 14 miles on the ODO when we picked it up, I want HER to break it in correctly

2 - she's not a very experienced rider yet, this is only her 2nd bike and all of her riding experience comes on a vstar 650 which did not include much highway driving down here in South FL - if you ain't doing 80 mph you risk becoming a hood ornament and 70+ mph isn't exactly fun on a 650 when you just started riding last year

Just for comparison sake, she was out on the roads today doing 70 and in 6th gear the bike is purrrrrring right along in the 3000 rpm range which is WAYYYYYY better than what the 650 (5spd) rpms are at those speeds - those little bikes can get a little buzzzzzy at highway speeds.

How can you sleep at night, knowing that you ripped those nice people off like that? Don't you realize that this country's economy sucks right now? We need consumers to start paying way too much for their goods and services! Ok, I'm totally kidding....CONGRATS to you and the MRS for getting one helluva deal on a great looking bike!

Score one for the dealer, finally, the way business ought to be conducted. Just when I lost faith in customer service by most company's, the dealer did the right thing. Congrats on the new ride and hopefully all the other dealers will take notice too...
Just my two cents...

thanks for all the well wishes folks.

Wifey is a happy girl to say the least - we went out yesterday and damn that paint is incredible in the sunshine

we will be putting it back on the trailer and taking it north to daytona this weekend to do some riding with our friends - and before we get flamed, if anyone can figure out how to get three 80 lbs dogs on two bikes I am all ears........
