Default Fatboy - Beachbars

I was trying to decide to put Apes or Beachbars on my 20007 Fatboy. I think I have decided on beachbars because EVERYONE puts Apes on and I want something different. Can anyone tell me, do I have to change out my stock cables to put the beachbars on my Fatboy? I'd appreciate any help.

Depends on what beach bars you go with- some are super wide and pull way back, other don't. Im selling a set on the classifieds that would work. The ones I'm going to get won't.

I have a set of the narrow beach bars from a SE Fatboy I can make you a heck of a deal on. Brand new. I set them in my risers, said "naw, not for me.", & put the back in the box. Pm me if interested.

I had Wild Ones 504 on my fatboy, used all stock cables , did have to add 4" to the wiring to do internal wiring

Go to the Wild Ones site and look at pictures, the 504, 508 and 518 will all work with stock cables

Here's two shots of my Lo with Burley Bikini Beach Bars. Love them. Very comfortable. I had to get longer cables( so I was told ). Had Indy powder coat and install them.

If you get the 36" beach or wider you will need new cables

OK,,, OK.... its time someone asked....

Show me a Pic of your 20007 Fat Boy,

Also where U live must make a BIG difference....... theres a Vell of lot more BB's in our neck of the woods than APE'S.

Actually I've seen maybe 3or4 bikes in our town with APES.....

So Ur "EVERYONE" has Ape's statement don't hold Chit...

I went with 36 1/2" beach bars and had to change lines all the way. Then went with the braided lines. You should sit on a bike and get a feel of the wideness of the bars you will get so your ride is comfortable and safe.
