Default Dr Vtwin: License Plate Mount ?

Drew, I see you have a side license plate mount on your bike. Can you tell me what it is and if the side bags will block it when they are on? Looking to change my license plate mount...dont care for the Softbrake one so I am considering a side mount but so far everything I've found will be unvisible to LE when my bags are on...thanks for any help!

The side mount I HAD was a Heartland plate mount. If you have saddlebags they will be in the way of it being seen I think. Check out the Cycle Visions Eliminator which is what I have on there now. Here is a pic. It gets rid of the stock taillight and incorporates the signals and all into one compact piece. the LEDS are super bright and the signals flash in orange although they are red when you brake.

I really like that Cycle Visions light but it's a little more money than I wanted to spend for a license plate holder. A little bummed about the side mount and bags not working well together. I may just go with a standard laydown plate holder. Ive got the Kuryakyn one but haven't installed it because I was really wanting to keep the rear end totally clean. Thanks for the help Drew!

Legal? I haven't been stopped for it yet. I think everything is legal in CA. LOL. I avhe never had an issue with any of my mods that may have bent the law a bit. I try to ride respectfully and it has done me well.
