I can't find a pic of the e-z brake. Does it extend the brake forward or to the right? I have no need to move it forward, which is what I thought it did - we need to extend them to the right about 2".

I'm gonna make a piece of metal to go between the lever and the brake pad and bolt it in between if I can't find something...

It just moves it way forward. I had the same bow-leg issue with my stock pedal. By moving it way forward, that problem stopped. I just took a close-up for you which is below. Hope this helps.

I have the same problem on my 05 Deluxe and I have not found a solution yet. Moving the pedal forward is not an option for me since I am 5'6", I do believe that some of the replacement pedals are a bit longer and that might help some.

Seems like Harley should offer a spacer to move the whole unit out an inch or two, or even sell a pedal bracket that curved outward.
I am surprised nobody has come up with a fix for that problem since its been a problem forever.

I'm only 5'10" with shorter legs. You still may want to try it. I can still put my legs way out on my engine guard foot rests which are a ways out from the brake pedal. If you can put the first half of your foot past the footboard (with your foot resting on the footboard), this will work great. Might want to find a bike rally and see someone that has one and ask them to try sitting on their bike to see how it feels.

AsahiToro,

The Arlen Ness Big Sucker II flows about 30% more than the original Big Sucker. It's overkill for a Stage I motor, but I bought it because I plan on more mods in the future. I plan on some head work, cams, and some larger displacement pistons (95" or 98"). Once I flow more air through the engine, the extra filter capacity will be needed.

Rode my roomates Fatboy and had this issue where I'm bending my foot to the left around his air cleaner to step on the brake. On my Deluxe I dont have this issue. 2 things I noticed. After the Stage I air cleaner kit was installed it moved the AC out a little bit (that was on both bikes) he has the small brake pedal I have the large brake pedal. Made a huge difference. Change your brake pedal arm so you can use a large pedal you will notice a huge difference. Easy install too.

Found a fix. Kuryakyn Iso Brake pedal, part no 8044 (pictured in center). Price averages about twenty bucks. For reference, its about 2X the size of the stock rubber pad. The reach is prefect now. Of course................

..........now I need the matching pegs.

The solution is very simple. Buy an FL style brake pad that matches your grips and pegs, and mount it.
