I have an 05' night train thats fuel injected, currently i have a stage one filter and download with drag pipes.
My question is i wanna change to the heavy breather kit and V&H 2-2 big radious pipes, and need to know if im going to need to get the fuel-pak right away or not. i plan on taking the baffels out so im guessing the download thats in the bike now should be ok being that my pipes will still be straight through and i dont think there will be much of a differance in the air its sucking in.

You don't "need to" but you should. The factory download that's in there will be okay and you won't blow up. I have no direct experince with the V&H fuel-pak so I can't comment.

All that being said, a Power Commander will give you much better throttle response, cooler running and better performance.

 

i have heard good things about both programmers, i just said fuel-pak cuz i was goin with V&H pipes, i will get one as the next thing for the bike after the pipes, but just a bit pricey to snag em both at same time, just wanted to know if it would be ok "temporarily". actually bouncin a few dif. pipes around in my head also, but still with no baffles until i get a programmer
