Default Long Ride With Out Full Face Helmet

Well some of my friends want to ride to an other city about 2 hours away. I was hoping that my full face helmet would have arrived but it hasn't. The only helmet I have right now is a skull cap type. I'm mostly worried about getting hit in the face with a rock or something. It's happened once & it sucked. Would a bandanna covering my face help at all? Any other ideas?

You'll be fine. Ride it and enjoy the breeze in your face. Nothin like it.

1) wear ear plugs
2) bugs in the face at highway speeds hurt

Ever heard the term "In the wind"? Helmets are for non free states and rain.

...and protecting the brain. Ever worn a FF on the highway? It's the most comfort you can get, if it is decently vented, on the highway although it may not look "badass" enough for some image conscious riders.

I have my old full face from when I use to ride sport bikes but it stinks like sweat. Haha... I bought that helmet like 6 years ago. I got hit in the face with a bug a couple of weeks ago & it actually broke the skin. Plus there is like a 30% chance of isolated thunder storms.

Cages have windsheilds too. That's why i ride, to get out in the free air.

I have never worn a full face helmet in the 33 years i have been riding. If you see something flying towards your head tilt your head down so it hits the top of your helmet. Wear good glasses and enjoy.

Wearing a helmet only determines if you have an open or closed casket funeral. So fu@k the helmet and enjoy the ride.
