I wouldn’t mess with that brother……..I use Chemical Guys Diablo Wheel Cleaner to get all the grime and break dust off……spray it heavy on a sponge to apply it the scrub with a brush for most parts and a toothbrush for those hard to reach crevices and holes. Then rinse. Do this process as many times as needed. Then follow up with mothers Aluminum Mag wheel polish and a drill and power ball attachment. My Fatboy is an 07’.

I was just curious about other applications.

That is one good-looking FB! Nice, love the blue. Both those are really nice older FatBoys.

Dawn dish soap, let it soak in but not dry. Rinse, now re-wash it with a decent car wash/wax/protection like Meguiars.
Keep them wet until the bike is finished washing then blow off with a lawn blowers, then wipe down.
Simplest way I found to keep them clean.

This is all you need and some soft rags. If it turns black on your rag which means it's working it does not have a clear coat. NOT for chrome!

I use that stuff and even with Mother’s Power Cone but once you get heavier oxidation spots it won’t touch them

I use a 000 steel wool with Mothers on it. Works well for me. Do NOT use it on chrome, use on aluminum only.
