Default Satin or Gloss Black

I'm getting ready to get some powder coating done on my 08 Denim Train. Going to have the lower fork tubes, trees, risers & headlight powder coated but not sure what color to get. I just received some new Gloss Black 50 Fat Spoke wheels from Drew & since the wheels are gloss black should I go with Satin or Gloss black on the powder coat?

I'd go satin.
I'd look through the photo gallery. You might see some of both to give you a better idea of the different look you'd want.

when it comes to the satin or gloss black powdercoat, I told a buddy of mine to look at where the piece is attached or what it sits close to. If it is something bolted directly to the frame or sits really close to the frame, I would go with gloss, if it is closer to the motor or the tins (since its a black denim bike) then I would go satin....the forks, I would personally go with gloss because they are indirectly attached to the frame so to speak. With the wheels, I would say whatever trips your trigger the most, but that decision IMO could alter the look of the forks......since you said you were going with gloss black wheels, I would do the forks the same for sure...in fact, all the parts you listed would be gloss black. My forks are gloss as are the risers (obviously factory) but since the controls, levers, and mirror are satin, I bought the bars in satin and didn't opt to powdercoat them glossy. I was afraid it would look "interrupted" but the risers seem to be a good cut off point.

Originally I was going to go with Satin but now that the wheels are Gloss black I'm just not sure which color would look best.

i think gloss. the wheels are gloss, then the forks and it would flow right into the frame. I think it would blend much better. I think if you go with satin, the forks will stick out a bit too much.

I think satin--too much gloss and your not going to like it.. Also satin will show off the wheels not compete with it.

I guess either way would work correct? Tough choice though! I'm still undecided.
