Default Le pera, leather or vinyl

I'm going to get a Barebones for my Deluxe and wondered whether it was worth getting the leather one instead of the vinyl, I suppose what I'm really asking is how good is the leather, if its not that good I'd probably go for the vinyl and at some point get it recovered.
If anyone is selling one let me know, I want a LXE-007.

I went with vinyl because it is a lot easier to take care of.

+1. I was thinking of going with leather, too, but I ended up going with vinyl. It's easier to maintain. Leather is great if you're willing keep it dressed and maintained. It's also more expensive.

Vinyl wears much better. If you want a distressed look then get leather as usually after time that is what happens to leather. If you want a seat that will look new all the time get vinyl.

I went with vinyl. If it gets wet just wipe her off and ride away. Leather gets wet and stays wet.

I got vinyl. No complaints. I'd like a leather one but I'm sure it would drive me crazy once it starts to get wrinkled and looks like an old catchers mit

I have the vinyl. It looks great, is easy to maintain and costs less.
