I found out after stents installed about 2-3 days I was always back to normal .. so far only have 16 of them installed in amarillo texas hospital over a period of several years ..

 

I had 3 stents put in; dr. said because I'll be on blood thinners for 3 months to shave with an electric razor, don't play sports (yea; right!) and don't ride a motorcycle because I could bleed to death if I'm in a crash on blood thinners. 2 Stents one week, another a week later ('cause they didn't have the right one in stock!) out of the hospital same day after 3rd stent, went home & went for a ride. I know it was kinda stupid, but I'm too badass a **** not to have done it. Also rode in a cat 1 hurricane (Jeanne; '05) but that is another dumb story! (OK; it was only halfway down the block & back;just to say I did it!)

 

Like 1 poster said, we may have a "new club" going here. I had the same back in 04 but I didn't have a bike to ride when I got out of the hospital and got home. I had to sell it right before I had my heart attack to pay for lawyers to get custody of my kids, hmmm, maybe thats why I had my heart attack!!! I would think everyone is a bit different. i would also agree with others that have said take your time and listen to your Doctor's. Hopefully you and or your bike are not going anywhere anytime soon.
