Default happy 4th,wrecked my deluxe,,,,

What a weekend,me and my wife went for a nice long ride on our deluxe, spent all last week replacing the charging kit, gloss blacked out my oil tank, inner primary cover and outer primary cover, air brushed some artwork, wet sand and buffed everything to perfection (was going to post pics yesterday),on our way home 5 minutes away on a back country twisty road,it was raining earlier, spotty showers, came around a 10 mile an hour road, sun shining, slowed into the turn on the shady part of the curb the bike continued straight as i leaned into the curb,so i pushed hard on the bars and it did not help, off the curb me and my wife went, soon as it his the dirt we both where thrown off,hit hard and rolled, the bike went one way on its left side, breaking off the shifter arm, floorboards, passing light that caved in the gas tank, and all the hard work i spent on the paint work gone,,,but we where both really lucky,no broken bones,i have my left arm and leg road rashed actually dirt rashed,,but my wife got it worse, she has bad road rash from her upper thigh down to her ankle, messed up her knee and ankle, and left arm,,it happened so fast, first time for both of us going down on a bike, but its only a bike, can be fixed, thankfully we went down in the dirt and we where going 10-15 mph,,,

Glad you and your wife are OK, a trip to the Body shop is a million times better than a trip to the hospital.

Glad you and your wife are alive and will recover, that sucks about the damage to your ride.
