Default Dropping the License Plate on Heritage

Has anyone out there dropped their license plate to below the tail light/turnsignal bar on a Heritage? Found a kit to move it on my wife's deluxe with the Tombstone light but have not found anything similar for a Heritage.

Any Ideas?

Yes, touring bar. You need to have a removable bag system to give you some additional space between fender and bag or it won work, the bullet ends would interfere with the bags.

I used Barebacks by Cyclevisions. I really dont like that stock light bar on a Heritage!

Softbrake for the plate mount and search JP Cycles for a reversed Lens, clear on the bottom instead of the top.

It looks like crap below the light. 4 items stacked one on top of each other, with no space between looks hideous. I've seen some leave the plate where it is but lay it down and it looks much better. You can lay it down for free by removing the front leg of the mount and bending the remaining piece of the mount down. Harley went way overboard in designing the license plate mount and the front part of the mount really isn't needed. Layed down looks better even with a solo seat.

"hideous"? isn't that a wee bit extreme?

Laying the plate down looked lame and cheap to me.

But everyone has their opinion.
