Sprung on a Softie ..... ?

Thanks man. Appreciate it! Tried a few different things before this final version. Pretty happy with its look, overall rideability and ability to put a suction cup p-pad on the fender for my wife so we can ride 2-up. Not the greatest for loooong trips...but a few hours on any given day is great.

No offense...but man...I hate the look of those double up seats (that you currently have) They look so clunky.

nice seat
no offense taken, its the original seat, the bike is still pretty much stock. As ugly as it is, the stock seat is really comfortable, and I will keep it for the long rides with the boss. The WLA repro is just the seat I am looking at. Looks terrific and now, I'm glad to hear that it is comfortable too.
cheers and thanks for the help.

new seat finally fitted
Finally, fitted my new Corbin Gentry seat...not the easiest of processes I must confess but now its on, I'm happy with the look. I'm thinking a set of floorboards is probably next though, these seats really suit a more upright posture and the forward pegs don't quite feel right. Anyone else had experience with this?
damn I gotta learn how to resize this pics!

But because our bikes have the 21 skinny front and the chopped bobtaiil fender I choose skinny spring seat and went with the 'bobber ' look.
The seat you have is honestly more suitable for a full skirt fender and/or maybe a springer front end (also matches the handlebars).
Floorboards will bring your feet back a bit, and by the way I did manipulate my seat location forward a bit to get more of the mid-control'ish feel.
Hope this helps.
