Now the wife wants a Harley!

I bought mine by calling all the dealers within a 200 mile radius and getting them to give me their best price. Only took me 3 days. I called them all and then they would call back and lower their bids until I was happy. Then I gave my card for a deposit and they had the bike all ready for me when I got there. Turned out that a dealer close by was the best deal, but I think telling them straight up that I was calling all around really made them either deal with me or tell me to F___Off. Saved me time and I got a great deal. One thought too...you should have her test ride the LO and I'd recommend you have her test the Deluxe as well. It's got more bling for the wifey and comes with bags and windshield and the like. My wife took my Deluxe the day I bought it. That's why I have a LO too. She loves the Deluxe.

If the bike is really for her. Go out and test ride a couple of bikes . The wife started out on a 650 Virgo. Then went to a 05 Dyna low rider. She did ok on the low but you could tell that she was as covadent on it. A buddy got a nightster and she tried it out . Well now she has a 08 Nightster and the Dyna low. She really really likes the Nightster just did a 10,000 mile service on it. She has taken both bikes to the mouintains of Tenn . She said she will take the Nightster back this year again

same thing happend to me. i bought a new limited after getting an older ultra that we put many miles on together. once the limited was in the stable with mods, she gets her license and now rides her own low rider. i would have gotten a road king probably - but now i'm in it. anyway - she is now thinking lo also, but the deluxe is nice too.
