Default New Speedo/Tach backlights

Hey All,

Just wondering if anyone knows if the backlights in the new Speedo/Tach combo (as in the link below) are light sensitive?

I ask because twice today they went out, and it appeared that when the bike went into shadow, they came back on. I just wanted to know if that was the case, or if it was just a coincidence and I might have a faulty gauge!!

Hey AusMogrel, they are light sensitive. Mine will be off until I drive into my garage and them the lights will come on when it gets into a darker area. your are doing what its design to do. be safe
