Default Softail bags, hold shape

JUST PURCHASED A 2011 HERITAGE SOFTAIL CLASSIC. I NOTICED OVER THE YEARS HOW THE SADDLEBAGS SAG AFTER AWHILE. I HAD COME ACCROS SOME COMPANY{S} THAT MAKE/SELL A KIT TO INSTALL INTO THESE BAGS TO HELP THEM RETAIN THEIR SHAPE. ANY ONE OUT THERE THAT HAS EXP WITH THESE?, WHERE TO BUY? EASY TO INSTALL?, PRO'S OR CONS?

I put the Leather lid inserts in mine and they do great job, but they was a pain to put in and they was new bags. If they had shrunk any it wouls have been real bad.

Sent mine to www.bossbags.com and had them done a couple of years ago. They still look like new. My brother has an '06' that was done after about a year and they still look great with over 30,000 miles on the bike. It's a great way to save an expensive set of bags.

I did the gotSaggyBags kit. It took nothing to install them and I absolutely love the outcome.

They are a bit expensive for what they are but the outcome makes it all worthwhile.

I installed got saggy bags on my 07 Heritage when it was new. They have held up well. They are a easy install but expensive for what you get. They are basically plastic inserts and glue. If I was to do it over again I think I would look around to see if I couldn't find some type of sheet plastic to make some.

I used "Leather Lid Inserts" too, and they worked fine, a little tough to install. But I like a puffed & stuffed look, so I cram them full of foam rubber so the sides don't cave in.

SO you stuff your bags for the "look"? Don't you use them? What do you do if you have them full of foam and decide you need to carry something home?

Check out Inertia WRX, I have them and not only do they help with stiffening the lids they have a locking system that works. Only took me an hour to install.
