Default nite-train mid-mounts?

I am going to be putting mid-mounts on my nite train... replacing the stock forward controls. It's an 06 model and I am wondering if there are any problems that I am not foreseeing on this one?.... thanks

Actual mid-controls, or floorboards. Either is possible. Most mid-controls I've seen are in the $1000 range.....

seems like it's not popular, hard to find a softail modded with mid-controls...
the one's i've seen on the net are performance machine and others custom made, like fabkevin, that require a open primary...
dyna controls should also require the dyna inner and outer primary cover...on the right side maybe weld a backet to frame where the controls would bolt to???...consider clearance with exhaust headers, brake fluid reservoir/rod/line...
if you decide to do it, please post...
