this happened to me when i installed my new bars..it's 1 of 2 things if you've checked the bulbs...

1) You have a pinched wire in the housing that's causing a short
2) Your leads in the jack under the gas tank aren't making a proper contact, or are stretched too far apart..

for me it was the jack under the gas tank

where is the module located?

On most Softails it's under the gas tank mounted between the frame members.

Had the same problem with mine. I put better bulbs that weren't from the stealer and it stopped
