Well ... I guess I know a lot of big guys that would take issue with that ... salespeople are full of shtt by nature. Ride what you want and what you can afford. Tune the sales horsecrap off.

What is it about these ignorant salespeople? Not all people are 6 foot plus. I would probably bet that salesman doesn't even ride. I don't see one thing about the deluxe that says "I'm aimed at women". I bought a rocker even though I couldn't flat foot both feet with the stock seat, I'm only 5'8". Seat height is low, but it seems WIDE compared to other bikes. Swapped it for an aftermarket seat and all is good. Bottom line is get what YOU want, not what some douchebag sales dude wants to sell you. Maybe they get some kind of sales perk for moving you into bagger platform?

My '05 Deluxe is factory stock (yep, even the seat so many seem to complain about!) except for the crash bar, and it's one of the best-riding bikes I've ever owned. I'm 6'2", about 215 lbs.

A mod should sticky this thread.

I'm 6'4 215 lbs. and own a springer classic. Changed the seat to a Mustang wide solo, made a huge difference. That along with h'way pegs makes for a comfortable ride. Buy what you like and "screw" other peoples opinions.
