Default 1984-1988 shotgun shocks?

do they make shotgun shocks for a 1988 softail fxstc? if so where is the best place to get them.

They make them for '99-earlier & 2000-later.

Contact JD @ Shotgun Shock, or Drew @ Dr. V-Twin for pricing. They're probably your 2 best bets.

thanks for the repsonses. contacted drew from dr v-twin and he set me up with the shocks. will order from him again.

FYI 84-88 take different shocks...if you put 89-up shocks on them they will hit the trans mounting plate. Don't know about an 88, but an 84 frame has a brace that would have to be cut out to even bolt them up....might want to double check with "shotgun"

My 1986 FXSTC has that brace. Good info Tom84FXST.

i pretty sure the 1987 and up don't have that brace. my shocks should be here on the 15th, can't wait to install them. ordering the mustang sport tour solo also, should make for a real nice comfortable ride.
