I bought the pillion and backrest from H-D and they are both studded i think they make the bike look better.

Good choice rsarno....my '04 FLSTC is the most comfortable ride I have ever been on. Kinda like wearin' an ol' pair of house-shoes. The clutch is average-pull, and unless you are in a parade, you won't notice--besides, HD makes a "Reduced Effort Clutch Kit" (HD36808-05) the retails for under $100 that reduces effort by about 30% (stock on '06 'n up). Chain tensioner.....should last ya 30,000+ miles. Only 3 more days.......

Tomorrow at 6pm my buddy (and me) is going there to drive it and negotiate price.

He's been riding 30+yrs and actually has a heritage, he will know what to look/feel for to determine if the 10k miles may not be actual. Thats all im really worried about

Assuming all is fine, decision is made and a final number put on it ... and arrangements for a Sat pickup

I'll also get to hear it for the first time! The dealer showed me it had V&H pipes and Stage1 done but it was in the shop and he couldnt start it.

super siked!!! Ill also try and get a better pic

That's the difference between a bike and a boat. "The two happiest days of my life are the day I bought and the day I sold my boat." With a bike it's the day I bought it and every day I ride it thereafter.

Happy to report my buddy drove and inspected the bike ... he said it might as well be brand new!!! It was literally SPOTLESS and he said it drove as if it werent even broken in yet.

Also i heard it start and drive .. WHOAH ... the mechanic couldnt say exactly what exhaust was on it, but holy sh*t it sounded good!! My buddy said it is loud and will get annoying to me on longer rides .. but i anticipate most of my driving to be shorter trips for right now.

IT WAS AMAZING!!!

I went in and finalized the paperwork, she is good to go for a Sat pickup

But of course its supposed to rain DAMNIT!!

Not only is it the bike i LOVE, but i saw it in the shop at a decent price (12.5) and the guy dropped it down for me (11.9) and now my buddy talked the owner into letting her go for 11k !!

04 FLSTCI 9k miles, not a hair scratch on her! Stage1 and Exhaust done .. so thats another $1,500 or so id save since id do that work anyhow!

UNREAL!!! I am soooooo siked i cant believe it. And i have NO friends that ride, so im all alone in my excitement .. which is why im posting here.

So common damnit, someone join in the excitement with me lol

I too wondered if mine might be too loud. It wasn't for me, (V&H BigShotsStaggered with 'spiral baffles), but worried it may bother those riding behind and to my right.

I had one of my friends ride in that position and he said it was FINE ... so I ain't changing nothing!

If your's does become too loud for you, don't change the exhaust, just get quieter baffles.

Like I said in my previous post .... "Ain't nothing like a Heritage!"

HD's BEST overall bike.
