Question Lowering Kits

These kits are on sale and very inexpensive,
http://www.harleyloweringkits.com/00haso.html

has anyone installed one and if so what was involved in the installation , is there supposed to be a "front lowering kit" installed too , i didnt see one offered

I would like to lower my 05 Fatboy (FLSTFSE) about a inch and my friend would love to lower her 06 Softail Standard (FXSTI) too without breaking the bank

Thanks in advance for your input and I aplogize if this subject has already been discussed...

You can go to 'search', 'Advances', type 'lowering' , make sure it is 'in title' and not in 'entire post', scroll down and select 'softail'.

now you are searching the softail forum for 'lowering' in the title, and you will have TONNES of topics covering everything.

Now..

LOL

I did lowering bolts on mine 2 years ago. If you have your own service manual it will help. It will ride stiffer but the bike will maneuver better. Can't beat the price.

dropped mine 2 inches in the back and it jars my back and teeth both on the big bumps.

looks great though lol.

anyways, in the next few days I'm gonna pull off the progressive 413's and put on my new 422's.

the 413's were the first version of the 422's, just not chrome. if you wanna try em out I can send em to ya.. just pm me.

they work great, I just want the chrome ones! all ya gotta do is pay for the shipping.

Can't beat that! Say goodbye to your *** and various nuts and bolts on the rear end of your bike.
