Default old fashioned bar lift

Anybody got a rear tire lift I can get measurements from? I want to weld up a bar lift for my Heritage Softail to save a few bucks...well OK, a lotta bucks. I'm sure alot of guys have thought of doing this too. I need the outer dimensions of the box and the length of the bar. Also where is the bar attatched to the box...top or middle and is there any bend in the bar? Thanks

I'm at work right now, when I get home I'll measure it up for you.

I've used 1 1/2" stainless tube all around except for the handle stub which is slightly larger diameter to allow for the handle to slide in. It doesn't have to be in two pieces, I've only made the handle removable for easier storage. Don't look too close at my welding, I'm a carpenter by trade not a welder . I've taped an old towel on the main tube to stop scratching on the frame. One man can lift up either front or rear clear off the ground but don't lift directly under the shockies.
