Thanks for chiming in everyone. I now know I want them, but has anyone run the American Ironhorse D&D 2-1 system? Looks just like the Fatcat and considerably cheaper. Did a search here with limited success but it looks like they should fit.

I have the heritage muffler p/n 514-32b and the muffler it's self is 27" long. That's from the end of the head pipe heat shields to the tip of the slash.

My newer 2011 standard muffler is 20". The one in my pic above is the older heritage muffler and is 23". I guess the new heritage muffler is even longer at 27". I'll remeasure to confirm.

Thanks for measuring. So does the 27" make it to the back of your back tire? I'm looking at the other pics here of the 20s and trying to gauge(from odd angles) how long itll be on the bike.

I'm assuming the holes in the 504 can be plugged with a simple, hardware store threaded plug. D&D lists these for fuel injected bikes. Will the 504-32B work okay with my '06 carb'd bike? And finally baffles. Looks like 3 are available. Standard, quiet, and big bore. I have the V&H BR now and they are to rat-tat-tat for me. Looking for something deeper and quieter. Do I need to go with the quiet baffle or is the standard okay? Hope to score one of these before someone else does. And if I do, anyone interested in some Big Radius pipes?
So did you pull the trigger yet G? Im looking for same pipes. let me know how they sound when youre done. I'm looking for that "on the verge of obnoxcious" sound... but i'm hearing others say theyre quieter than the v&h. nice ride by the way.
