Default Loud Clunk

It just started today. I rode to work this morning (about 5 minutes) and when I shifted into 2nd gear, I hear this loud clunk. I don't hear it going up or down to any other gear, only up from 1st to 2nd. The same thing happend when I went home for lunch.

I just recently had my stator replaced and the case was refilled as I was there while they replaced it.

Any ideas what to check for. This clunk never happend before today.

All my Harley's have had a loud "clunck" everytime I shift into any gear. Sounds normal to me.

This isn't normal. The bike has 20K on it and it just started today. However, it didn't do it on my way home after work - so I just can't think of what it could be and why it did it this morning and afternoon, but not this time coming home.

Replace your primary fluid with Mobil 1 Racing 4-T 10/40. I was using tranny fluid in my primary, B&M Trick Shift, and liked the way it shifted. My son didn't like it in his bike so he switched to the Mobil 1 Racing 4-T. On the bottle it says it's for wet clutch primary use. I just put it in and wow. So much smoother, less clunck or chunk when shifting. Won't use anything else.
