I have been thinking about losing the drag bars & going with Black apes.

I am sitting on the fence.

Any thoughts?

 

My last bike I had I put 18" apes on them. I LOVED IT! the saying is, once you go apes, you never go back. I just got my softail, and I will be buying apes within the next 2 weeks. My opinion, I absolutely love them! but remember, check your local laws too. I heard in Canada you can't be over 12" above the seat. I think you will love them though if you decide to go with it. your bike would look killer with them!

 

10 or 12" black mini apes would look sweet on your ride.

 

Nice ride. I want to put some apes on my bike so bad right now. I say go with the mini apes. Micahpop's bike is about the best looking I've seen. If you do it, make sure you post what bars and length wires/cables you use. Good luck.

 

It's really a personal choice, but I really like the mini apes. I was going to get some Zbars myself before I chopped my bike.

I say go for it!! I have drag bars also but Apes are on my list right after the Fat Cat!! They look sick and most guys say they love them!!

 

Your bike would look unbelievable with apes. On the other hand, it would look like a lot of other bikes. Not that it's unique now, but you don't see as many. It REALLY looks hot now, the drag bars give it a flowing, balanced look.
