for the record, i like both....am looking at a bagger right now. wouldn't give up my deuce though so i may have to get back into a payment to do it .......in my opinion both bikes have their place, i like the deuce for around town and under 500 mile trips but i'm getting a bagger for the long stuff and multiday trips so i can take my gear and get there in one piece.....jabbing at each other is cool and fun but some of this crap i'm hearing is stupid, both on this thread and the other one....

 

The weather should be nice. I'll wave if me and my top heavy bike see you out and about

 

Hmmm, so I was right...the softail's really are a girls bike.

 

So I guess this dispute is settled. Two bikes for everyone....Softail for in town, Bagger for the hwy and a Sporty for everything else ooops...thats 3

 

Can we add a Buell (with a Turbo?) for when you want to get really nuts?

My Wife likes the vibes!!! Isn't a Harley suppose to Shake some? Try riding an evo softail or earlier model! After owning Softails, a Road King and now a Street Glide, at no time has my touring model been excessive or annoying. I think I would fall a sleep riding a counter balanced V Twin. Probably feels more like a Honda!
