I have the Samson 28.5" fishtails without baffles. They look and sound perfect for the Heritage-IMO.

Default pipes

the vance and hines do not have a true fish tale look there more like a large mouth bass the opening is bigger and they do not really have the classic fish tale look. i have had both and i am running the samson i like there look better than vance and hines and i like the longer pipes.

I run the Samsons and like them better. These are my reasons. Better bends (flow, looks) on left cross over pipe as stated. They mount lower on the bike which looks better. Many different lengths to choose from. Also can choose between longtail or fishtail.Ethier of which look much better then the big mouth bass tip look as mentioned.I have only seen one set of V&H True duals a while ago.If I remember correctly the rear jug head pipe was crushed down to about to a 1/2 " which I didn't like.Don't let the shift linkage replacement bother you it is easy to install. You also have to replace the coil bracket/seat post with the Samsons. That is easy as well.

I think what V&H sells is mis-named, it should be fishMOUTH, but I kinda like that look!
