Practice makes perfect...

When I first installed mine I thought I had made a mistake...
Now it's second nature...

I do still slip her into neutral when I come to an extended stop...but have practiced stopping with clutch in and one leg down...and have no issues

I have aprox 1.5" of engagement travel...and have no issues with hills

give it a little time and you will be riding like a pro...

I know it's a "looks" thing, but it seems that there's a reason they call it a "suicide" shifter. Why make an already inherently dangerous activity that much more so?

So I can do it in the first place, as injuries while not riding a bike can happen.

Jockeys are cool and all that, but there are very good physical reasons why the current design has abandoned the old in this case.
