Well about 3 months ago I traded in my 1200 sportster for my fatboy lo and have not looked back. The sportster has a good deal more acceleration compared to the lo but I can still get off the line alot faster than any car. I love the comfort of the fatboy 100 times more than the sporty. If you are going to be carrying a passenger there is no question the fatboy is the way to go. My wife says that it like riding on a cloud compared to the sportster. But best way to find out is find a demo day near you and ride anything and everything you can because you might find that a bike you are not even considering might be better for you.
