Default Better Seat?

Hey guys, I am wanting a better touring seat for my Softail Deluxe. I am looking at either the Mustang Seat with rider backrest and wider passenger seat or the HD signature seat w/ rider backrest. I have read that the mustang passenger seat wont work with the stock luggage rack. Does anyone know if the one piece version will work or if the HD seat will work w/ the luggage rack?

No backrest per se, but some support on the Sundowner. Attaches with one screw to the luggage rack. Swap it frequently with my C/C solo.

I have a 2010 Heritage Classic with the HD Sig Series seat c/w backrest and I have a luggage rack installed.

For comparative purposes my previous bike (brand to remain anonymous for fear of offending the HD gods) had a mustang seat with back rest installed. I've only been riding the sig series for about a month but at this point my preference would be the mustang. Backrest is sturdier than the HD and I find after a few hours riding the area just below the belt on the backside starts getting numb. Also, the sig series sets you back a bit causing me to have to lean forward a little. I'm getting risers installed in the next few weeks to bring the bars back. I hoping this will make the difference.
