Just use some Krylon Semi Flat rattle can. That's what I did until this coming winter when I plan on doing what Sgt Jim did and tear it all down in my dining room. Gonna send a bunch of stuff to get powdercoated. I got pics if you wanna see the rattle can work.

What part of Pittsburgh you from? I'm from Butler. Military moved me to Florida, Texas, and South Dakota but pretty much my whole family still live there. My dads always looking for people to ride with.
Thank you. Yeah they really helped the comfort.

I'm from south of Pittsburgh. 2 Hours from your dad.

Having gone with the LED headlight myself... it's worth it. Also, I think you will pay 300 bucks for the right air cleaner

How much fun was that front turn signal relocate? Pretty straight forward?
So, as I said most of my riding has been local and I really haven't done any night riding to speak of.

Until last night that is. I was on unfamiliar roads @ 10:00 at night. And these were typical Pennsylvania secondary roads with lots of blind turns, hilltops, no berm, etc, etc.

HOLY CRAP THAT STOCK HEADLIGHT SUCKS!!!!

Maybe it's because my eyes aren't the greatest (I wear prescription Bobster goggles) or because I'm 41, but I am TOTALLY on the LED bandwagon. I did some research after you mentioned it and came across several posts (thanks jbg) that really helped seal the deal.

Thanks for bringing it up!
