I realize that this isn't a "before" and "after" thread, but this will give you an idea of what my '07 FXST looked like when I bought it, and what it's become in the past 4.5 yrs.......

Here's the day I bought it.

Here are some early mods, before I changed direction....

Once I decided that I wanted new wheels, paint, bars, chrome, etc......This is what it's become......

That Standard is a very honest bike in its own.. no non-sense attitude and just looking for a rider.
It is also considered as a great Pallette for change if you wish so, I try to keep the 'spirit' of the no-nonsense and yet still modify it when I can .. I love this bike

a lot of people do not like the bobtail fender, but if you read any book about the history of choppers and the art form, the more you will appreciate it.

When I got my bike I did not like the color nor the small metalflake in it, and did not like the bobtail fender either.

4 years later, and reading/viewing countless magazines AIM/Horse/StreetChopper/HotBike/GKM etc, the bobtail and color are two of the things I love the most about the bike.

Perspective and taste are changing things my friend, changing things.

but the rear fender is fully reversible mod if you keep your struts which is a good thing as well.
