I used the scotchbrite on my pipes, it did give them a brushed look

Default Martin Bros

Just picked this up yesterday, and it has the Martin Bros pipes as well...not sure what model. Like the pipes, just would much rather have black.....

Ceramic coated, Silver would be my thing. That would also keep the pipes from turning blue too. I think if you went with black the pipes would get lost up against the backdrop of the rest of the black bike. Just my .02 on the subject. I got the 3 Samson head pipe pieces ceramic coated and they came out really well. Yes, they are covered by the chrome heat shields but I also got it done to reduce some heat issues and I also didn't want any of that blueing showing around the top of the head pipe. It also adds a few points if your ever showing your bike to.

Holy thread resurrection! I traded the bike for a '12 street glide back in September. Still got the pipes in my garage wrapped with black exhaust wrap and spray painted black with grill paint. Craigslist sucks here and I can't sell them.
