Default Transmission Cover - Silver to Black

I've got a 2011 Fatboy Lo which has the stock transmission cover in silver. I'd like a factory black one so that the finish is correct to match the rest of the engine.

What other new models come with the cover in black wrinkle? Maybe someone out there wants to trade?

You talking about the transmission cover or the primary cover?

Cheapest thing you can do is take it off and have it powder coated black.

I assume the entire cover. I'm new to HD so I don't know the terminology. The circular cover is the primary correct? I'm my photo, I'd like the entire silver cover to be black wrinkle.

The cover in your pic is the primary cover. Someone can powdercoat that for you a lot cheaper than buying a new one.

Nuff said. I will remove it and have it powder coated. Thank you.

That's my concern. So how did you get yours black? Did you buy a black one from the dealer?

I wanted to make sure it matched wrinkle black, so I went the dealer route. That is with the primary and derby covers. Transmission cover is still stock.
