I like chromed bolt covers, but there are nicer ones available. It gets expensive, but the rocker box cover bolts and things like that really add a nice touch.

Instead of Hot toppers, every time I was changing something or doing some maintenance I went to the local hardware store and replaced the bolts with chrome.. It took a while but I'm done.. looks 100% better than Hot toppers

If you have some time and a drill press you can polish the stainless steel bolts that are already on your bike. I had Hot Toppers on my last Fatboy.......this time I've been pulling off a few bolts in my spare time and polishing them. Easy and cheap! There are guys on fleabay who sell polished stainless bolt sets for less than a set of Hot Toppers.

I've got chrome bolts and still use the Hot Toppers. They are an outstanding product that hold up to heat, don't tarnish and remove easily for servicing.
