Difficulty installing backrest on FBlo 2010 - help?
Hi, I just purchased the backrest for my FBLo 2010 and while I know that is the number 40 Torx to remove the two bolts on each side of the rear fender, the bolt felt slight loose using #40. I must be doing something wrong. so I tried other sizes and none were the correct size Torx.
Please advise.

I'd picked up a Torx/tool set from Home Depot and was specifically looking for T40 in the set as I had tried and the T40 fits nicely {obviously it was not the right size}. The set didn't have T45 and T50 is too big. Will return the set and get the T45 tomorrow.
The installation looks quite straight forward by simply removing the two Torx{s} on either side and bolt them back on after the backrest is positioned.
If I am missing something please...
Thank you for all replies.

Finally, I was able to removed the T45 torx and installed the backrest.
I am now installing the engine guard but noticed that the clutch cable is quite tight up against the guard as it held by a plastic bracket. It appears the cable can not be relocated or repositioned. Will this be ok? The clutch cable is not pinched between the frame and the guard, but quite tight as the top bolt is tighten.

I did a ton of research, after having the exact same problem.
I am fairly sure those specific bolts are Torx plus not reg Torx.. that is why there is a little bit of play.
from the Wiki, so it must be true
